For me the need to create is there all day long, whether I like it or not, and some days I don't because I can't create 24/7---I have to do other things like eat, sleep and take care of my family.
Mixed media art is pretty much my life and has been for many years now. I have dabbled in many art forms---everything from canvas work to sculpture---but as of late, my love of art and fashion have lead me to my current passion: designing and creating one-of-a-kind art handbags and mixed media jewelry! My influences are many, but my love of the theatre and ballet and my extensive travels, as well as things old, rusty, Victorian and gothic have the strongest influence on my work. Whether I'm reinventing old pieces of jewelry, creating fashionable artsy handbags out of boxes and tins, or brainstorming new concepts for a show...breathing new life into the ordinary is what I love to do most. Listed below are some of the people, places, and things I have been lucky enough to create for...
